Meet Melissa, founder of The Pink Canvas.
Melissa created The Pink Canvas by bringing together three things that have shaped her career: education, counseling, and creativity. With a Master’s in Education and years of experience working with students and families, she brings an educational foundation to every program while keeping each experience fun, engaging, and approachable.
What began as a creative business has grown into a mobile art studio serving schools, districts, organizations, communities, and private events throughout Southern California.
The Pink Canvas offers hands-on art experiences designed to go beyond simply creating something to take home. Programs encourage creativity, confidence, problem solving, connection, self-expression, and real-world skills in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.
Melissa thoughtfully develops each experience with the audience in mind, from student enrichment and career exploration to family events, staff workshops, homeschool programs, and community experiences.
Her approach is simple: make it creative, make it engaging, and make it meaningful.
