At The Pink Canvas, we believe in the healing power of art. Our Brushes of Hope initiative is dedicated to bringing joy and comfort to children undergoing treatment at children's hospitals.
We create specialized art kits filled with everything a young artist needs to express their creativity and find a moment of peace amidst their challenges. These kits are thoughtfully designed and lovingly donated to support and uplift these brave kids on their healing journey.
Through Brushes of Hope, we aim to provide not just art supplies, but a sense of hope and a reminder that they are not alone.
Why Brushes of Hope?
Brushes of Hope is deeply personal to me. Two years ago, my youngest son was hospitalized at CHLA, and those days were some of the most emotional, scary, and uncertain times for our family. We were overwhelmed, but the kindness and support we received from friends, family, and even strangers helped us navigate that journey.
Creating Brushes of Hope is my way of paying that kindness forward. Through these art kits, we want to offer hospitalized children a bit of brightness and an escape, even if just for a moment.
Art can be powerful, especially during tough times, and my hope is to share that sense of comfort with kids and families who may need it the most.
